When the boy and his father did not return home after the marriage, the boy’s family informed the police of Bariyarpur police station. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the wedding venue and resolved the matter. The police got both of them married in the temple. At present there is a lot of discussion about this marriage.

In the context of the incident, the villagers say that last 4 days, on 18th November, a marriage procession had come to the house of Munna Mahato of Rajapakad village of Bariyarpur police station area from Meerapur village of Pier police station area of ​​Bandra block. During this time, after the arrival of the wedding procession, the people of the girl’s side welcomed the wedding procession with great pomp and also got garlanded. As the marriage began, very little of the jewelery brought by the boy’s side was visible. The girl’s side said that even after we had spent well and given dowry, why less jewelery was brought? Due to this, the girl’s family got angry and started creating ruckus at the wedding venue itself. The people from the girl’s side refused to marry and took the groom as well as his father hostage there. The girl’s family started saying that bring as much jewelery as was promised and then the marriage will take place. Seeing the commotion increasing, other people attending the marriage procession ran away from there. The next day after this incident, people from both sides held a Panchayat regarding the matter, but the matter did not work out. By then two days had passed. On the third day, people from the boy’s side gave a written application to Bariyarpur police station, pleading to resolve the matter. The police investigated the matter and got both of them married in the village temple and then bid farewell to the girl.

Police got the marriage done

In this case, Bariyarpur Police Station President Chandni Kumar Sanwaria said that the application was given in the police station by the boy’s party who had come to get married. Taking immediate action in the light of the application, the groom and his father, who were held hostage in Rajapakad village, were freed. After convincing both the parties, both of them got married to Rajamandi in a temple near the village in the presence of villagers and police. After the marriage of both, the boy’s side has withdrawn the application.
